Massaya Blanc
SOURCE: From grapes grown in the foothills of the Mount Lebanon mountain range between 1200 and 1600 metres.
GRAPE VARIETIES: Obeïdi 20%, Rolle 20%, Clairette 20%, Sauvignon Blanc 20%, Chardonnay 20%, average 20 years old.
VINIFICATION: Fermented at our Faqra winery- the only winery based in a ski resort! Grapes are hand-picked and conveyed in crates. Direct pressing with a pneumatic press, static settling, and fermentation in old oak foudres (30 hl) and demi-muids. Matured on the lees for 8 months before bottling.
TASTE: A captivating scent of white flowers and herbs. Notes of lemon, peach and fennel on the palate. It combines depth, roundness and freshness with a fine, mineral focus on the finish.
